Ardian, one of the world's leading private equity firms, has acquired an equity stake in SERMA Group, an independent European leader in consulting and services specialized in electronic technologies, embedded systems and information systems.
Ardian's Expansion team first acquired a stake in SERMA Group in 2015 and participated in the company's growth, notably through new acquisitions and the creation of the "SERMA Safety & Security" branch.
On the occasion of this new transaction with Ardian's Expansion team, SERMA Group's management and employees, who remain the majority shareholders, are once again investing heavily in the company's capital. Chequers Capital and Bpifrance also remain minority shareholders, alongside Ardian, the reference financial shareholder.
