Snapshift, the SaaS HR application for small businesses in the restaurant, hotel and retail industries, has completed a €40 million Series A financing round with several institutional and private investors. The company plans to recruit 150 people by 2022 to achieve its ambition of becoming the benchmark HR operational system for VSEs/SMEs whose employees do not work behind a desk but in the field in contact with customers.

After a seed round in 2019, Snapshift is taking on a new dimension with a €40 million Series A funding round. This one is from Highland Europe, Bpifrance, via its Digital Venture fund, and UL Invest. Founded in 2016, the French start-up Snapshift now has more than 6,000 customers and 70 employees.

With this new round of funding, the company hopes to extend its services to all VSEs in the restaurant, hotel and retail sectors in France but also throughout Europe, with Spain as its first target, thanks to the recruitment of 150 people in 2022.

Jérémie Swiecznik, partner, advised Bpifrance and UL Invest in their investment in Snapshift.
