Augustin Fleytoux

Jérémie Swiecznik has more than 15 years’ experience in private equity, mergers & acquisitions and equity transactions. He assists issuers and their managing shareholders, both financial and industrial, at all stages of their development, as well as French and foreign investment funds in their acquisition of majority and minority stakes.

Jérémie leads a large number of venture capital, expansion capital, LBO and M&A transactions every year, and also has solid expertise in financing. Drawing on his extensive experience, Jérémie favors a pragmatic, personalized approach to each case, building lasting partnerships with his clients.

Marie-Pierre advises in wealth and transactional tax matters, assisting entrepreneurs and families, both resident and non-resident in France.

She is involved in :

• reorganization of business and personal asset holding structures and corporate groups,
• implementation of business sales and transfers under the Dutreil scheme,
• legal and tax structuring of philanthropic projects (associations, endowment funds, sheltered foundations),
• tax compliance (IR, IS, registration, 3% tax, trust, other, etc.),
• assistance with tax audits and litigation, and regularization procedures.

Amélie, Counsel since January 2023, joined the firm in 2012 after practicing with firms specializing in business law and private equity. Working in the firm’s corporate law department, Amélie is involved in the firm’s mergers (domestic and cross-border), acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Over the past few years, Amélie has developed a strong expertise in Luxembourg corporate law, and co-manages the Luxembourg Desk with Philippe Delattre.

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since May 2021.

Graduated of Paris I La Sorbonne University, Sarah joined Degroux Brugère in 2017. She advises and litigates, assisting companies in the amicable and judicial handling of their difficulties. She also acts on behalf of domestic and foreign investors in their external growth projects by way of asset takeovers under sale plans.

Sarah is also involved in various types of litigation, notably in commercial law, corporate law, and the contractual or tort liability of companies and their directors. She assists and represents her clients in the pre-litigation and litigation phases of their cases.

Graduated from the Master 2 in Corporate Law and Taxation at the University of Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne, Quentin worked in a Parisian law firm before joining Degroux Brugère in 2022.

His practice focuses mainly on private equity, mergers & acquisitions and, more generally, corporate law. He advises investment funds on fund-raising, external growth and refinancing transactions, as well as on the implementation of management packages.

After working for four years in the tax department of a business law firm in Paris, Anne-Louise joined Degroux Brugère in 2021 as an associate.

Anne-Louise assists companies and investment funds with their acquisition, restructuring and financing operations. She is particularly involved in all aspects of transactional taxation, from due diligence to structuring. She is also involved in asset taxation, tax audits and tax litigation.

Marie holds a Master 2 in Tax Management from the Institute of Business Administration (IAE) in Poitiers. After gaining experience in the United States, she joined Degroux Brugère in 2022, where she had completed her final internship.

Marie specializes in asset taxation, transactional taxation, audit assistance and tax litigation.

A graduate of the Master 2 and “Magistère” programs in Business Law, Taxation and Accounting at the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Aix-en-Provence, Matteo joined the Degroux Brugère tax team in 2021 after completing his final internship there.

Matteo specializes in asset taxation, transactional taxation, audit assistance and tax litigation.

Claire is a member of the Corporate Law team and also advises associations.

She has significant experience in corporate listing, assisting issuers with their regulatory obligations and relations with the AMF, drawing up their annual reports and universal registration documents, reporting obligations, regulated information, crossing thresholds, etc.

Publication of doctoral thesis “Dumping as part of discriminatory sales practices and the specific case of Japan”.

Maxim Khlopotin is mainly involved in private equity, M&A and private equity transactions. He joined Degroux Brugère in July 2019.

He previously worked for Neptune and Luchtenberg Avocats (2015-2019).

Willy specializes in private equity, venture capital and mergers & acquisitions. He assists companies, investment funds, founders and/or managers with acquisitions, disposals or fund-raising.

Prior to joining Degroux Brugère, Willy worked for the law firm Archers.

A graduate of the Master 2 in Business Law at Paris V Descartes University, Delphine joined Degroux Brugère in 2021 after completing her final internship there.

Delphine is involved in both the pre-litigation and litigation phases, assisting companies with the amicable and judicial handling of their difficulties. She also assists both French and foreign investors in the takeover of assets subject to French insolvency proceedings.

In addition, Delphine assists companies and managers in a variety of commercial and corporate disputes, as well as civil liability claims.

After working in the tax department of an Anglo-Saxon law firm, Claire joined Degroux Brugère in 2021 as an associate specializing in asset taxation, transactional taxation, audit assistance and tax litigation.

Graduate of the Master 2 in Corporate Engineering at the University of Law and Political Science in Aix-en-Provence, Emilie joined Degroux Brugère’s corporate team in 2021 after completing her final internship there.

Her practice focuses on private equity, mergers & acquisitions and, more generally, corporate law. She assists investment funds with fund-raising, external growth and refinancing transactions, as well as with the implementation of management packages.

Graduate of the Master 2 Tax Lawyer program at the University of Paris V René Descartes and the EFB (Ecole de formation du barreau), Camille joined Degroux Brugère’s tax team in 2019 after completing her final internship there.

Camille’s practice focuses on wealth taxation, in both French and international contexts, as well as tax audits and litigation.

Graduate of the Master 2 in Tax and Customs Law at the University of Cergy-Pontoise, Coralie joined the Degroux Brugère tax team in 2022 after completing her final internship there. She specializes in asset taxation, transactional taxation, audit assistance and tax litigation.
