Founded in 2015, SFE PROCESS, a company specializing in the manufacture of extraction machines using "supercritical CO2", has just completed a €6 million Series A funding round.

The round of financing, led by Crédit Mutuel Equity, Bpifrance, Groupe ILP and a private investor, has brought the Lorraine-based start-up a step closer to its goal of becoming a world leader in sustainable chemistry in a constantly expanding market.

The company is run by a duo of entrepreneurs, Jérémy Lagrue and Brice Sarrail, who remain majority shareholders, and who have also opened up the capital to employees.

With sales of 10 million euros, SFE Process aims not only to accelerate the democratization of its technology in France, but also on the international market, particularly in North America.

Jérémie Swiecznik, associate, was involved in this transaction.
