The Breega and INCO Ventures funds, accompanied by the Degroux Brugère law firm, have led a €3 million funding round for YMO to expand its mobile payment services in West Africa and Europe.

YMO, a financial inclusion solution founded in 2019, is aimed at African populations on the African continent and the diaspora in France and Europe. Based on the observation that millions of people are currently excluded from the financial system, YMO, a 100% digital solution, has set itself the mission of revolutionizing their daily lives by using mobile technology for money transfers and daily payments.

The Franco-Guinean start-up began by offering an instant payment service between France and Guinea via cell phone, then in 2022, after obtaining its e-money issuer license from the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea, it successfully launched its local payment service. Today, the young fintech aims to become the leader in digital finance in Africa by expanding beyond the borders of France and Guinea, where it already has over a million customers.

Breega, an investment fund created in 2015, has over 500 million euros in assets under management and supports more than 70 startups from the conception of the idea to its impact.

INCO Ventures is part of the INCO Group, present on 5 continents through its training and incubation activities. A key player in impact investment, the management company is an expert in venture capital, with over 500 million euros under management.
