DEGROUX BRUGERE SUPPORTS IMERYS IN THE CREATION OF A JOINT VENTURE WITH SEITISS TO PROMOTE THE RECOVERY OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE
Imerys, world leader in mineral specialties for industry, announces the creation of a joint venture with startup Seitiss, to develop mineral solutions based on the circular economy.
This joint venture illustrates the growing need of manufacturers to better valorize their waste: Seitiss Imerys Minéraux Circulaires (SIMC) aims to provide circular economy solutions valorizing mineral waste from industrial activities.
In addition to its financial investment, Imerys will provide SIMC with the benefit of its industrial and commercial know-how, as well as its international presence, to accelerate the development of an initial opportunity involving the recovery of recycled calcium carbonate from industry.
Seitiss, for its part, creates and operates innovative, high value-added circular value chains, using unique digital tools to locate untapped sources of waste and create value chains to turn them into circular products.
