Degroux Brugère advised Bpifrance and AfricInvest on the OBO carried out by Marietton Développement, France’s leading travel company, marking the group’s fourth LBO.
This transaction enables the 14 members of the Executive Committee and employees to increase their stake in the company, consolidating their commitment to a strong group of 1,800 employees. The US fund Certares retains approximately 49% of the new structure, Havas Voyages Groupe, alongside longstanding shareholders Bpifrance and AfricInvest, who are renewing their support.
Through this transaction, the Group is pursuing its development strategy, focused on enriching its offering, strengthening customer services, and a policy of targeted acquisitions.
Jérémie Swiecznik and Willy Lao assisted Bpifrance and AfricInvest as legal advisors on all legal and transactional aspects of the deal.
