Founded by Emmanuel Darras (CEO) and Ludovic Dehon (CTO), startup Kestra provides enterprises with an event orchestration platform for defining, automating and managing complex data workflows.
Degroux Brugère advised Kestra in a €7 million financing round led by Alven, with the participation of historical investors Isai and Axeleo.
Following an initial pre-seed round of 3 million euros a few months ago, this new round of financing will enable the start-up to accelerate its development.
In addition to institutional investors, Kestra is backed by several leading business angels specializing in data engineering, including Tristan Handy (dbt Labs), Michel Tricot (Airbyte), Olivier Pomel (Datadog), Clément Delangue (Hugging Face), Bertrand Diard (Talend), Nicolas Dessaigne (Algolia) and Frédéric Plais (Platform.sh).
Jérémie Swiecznik, partner of the Transactional Practice, took part in this transaction, alongside Benoît Courtet, counsel.
Alven was advised by Goodwin Procter.
