Degroux Brugère has advised the Meilleurtaux group on the acquisition of Patrimea, a company specializing in wealth management and investment advice.
Meilleurtaux Placement, the group’s savings division set up in 2019, has grown significantly in recent years and is continuing to develop its investment offering. This transaction strengthens its position as an independent player in digital savings and investments, and consolidates its strategy of diversifying from its initial model as a mortgage broker.
The strategy of Patrimea’s founders, Philippe Gourdelier and Nicolas Sost, was to develop high-performance, low-cost savings products. Founded in 2009, Patrimea manages 430 million euros in assets on behalf of 8,000 savers living in France and abroad.
