Degroux Brugère advised the entrepreneurs’ club Capital Croissance on an OBO transaction within the Renobat group, carried out alongside its co-founders, Nicolas Bonnelly and Bertrand Rigaud.
Capital Croissance thus becomes a minority shareholder in the Provence-based group specializing in the renovation of buildings in disrepair and signs the sixth investment of its CAIRN Capital III fund, which raised €285 million by the end of 2023.
Capital Croissance’s investment aims to give the management team the means to accelerate an ambitious development plan. This support will focus in particular on continuing to structure the Group, in a context of structurally growing demand, as well as on multi-agency deployment aimed at extending a model that is already particularly successful locally to the national level.
Founded in 2017, Renobat specializes in old and fragile structures. The Group, which has enjoyed continuous growth since its creation, relies on a solid local presence, a recognized reputation, and an interconnected network of around thirty technical design offices.
Augustin Fleytoux, Jérémie Swiecznik, Quentin Bechert, and Emma Bremaud advised Capital Croissance on the legal and transactional aspects of this deal.
Marguerite Galois-Boyé advised on the tax aspects of the transaction.
